Hugh Dodson
President
Paragon's President Hugh Dodson is a veteran senior executive in media, entertainment and sports and a former NFLPA-certified agent. He was previously the COO/CFO of The Gersh Agency (Gersh) for eight years and chief architect of Gersh Sports, where he guided that iconic talent agency's successful entry into sports management. As the only non-family member on GERSH's board of directors, Hugh was in charge of virtually all operational aspects of the agency and spearheaded their new business development and corporate expansion initiatives.

Hugh's senior experience in the media and entertainment industry spans the past 22 years. He has an extensive background in finance and operations from his work as a senior financial analyst in the filmed entertainment divisions of Walt Disney Studios and MGM/UA. His strategic business expertise covers turnaround and management of established and start-up businesses in accelerated growth cycles as well as in-depth experience in marketing, advertising and promotion. He has also managed companies in the commercial production and post production field as related to feature films, broadcasting and cable.

Moreover, from his days at Gersh to Paragon's launch in March 2008 and through today, Dodson has guided actors careers resulting in roles in studio and independent feature films ("The Social Network" "Lincoln Lawyer" "The Gundown" as well as network and cable television shows ("The Unit" "Criminal Minds" "CSI" "Entourage") and numerous commercials. As for athlete clients he has guided players from the playing field to the broadcast booth and appearances in film and television as well as numerous commercials. During his 12 years in the representation business, Dodson has handled and directed client negotiations totaling more than $200 million in talent and athlete deals. He sees Andrea Curtis' arrival as a milestone event for development of a larger more robust talent management business.

A graduate of Arizona State University, Hugh is a volunteer youth sports coach, coaching athletes 13 and under in two sports. He lives in Calabasas, California and enjoys a round of golf as often as possible.
